This week’s episode takes a different view on bullying—most bullying stories center around the victims being bullied, which is perfectly understandable. Unfortunately, I could not do a live interview with a former bully, but I was able to have several conversations with individuals that shared how and why they were bullies when they were younger. All individuals were very forthcoming, and all of them took ownership of their actions.
I know that I left those conversations with a completely different perspective and understanding of how some find themselves in a position where they feel the need to hurt others either psychologically or physically. I ask that you allow yourself to open your mind and take a step back to better understand how these problems come to be and what more we can do as a society to help all involved.

Part 2 of my four part series on bullying, my guest Will Alton is 25 years old, a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Shelby County Fire Department, and most recently a newlywed. Listen to this incredible story of perseverance and tenacity as Mr. Alton opens up about how bullying affected him as a child and how he used the negative comments and actions to motivate him to succeed as an adult. Mr. Alton shares how he was mislabeled in high school and how this almost ruined his adult life. Simply being picked on can be difficult enough but when you have to convince people that don’t know who you are that you are not a bad person; you can feel isolated and without hope and not know where to turn next. I’m certain that Mr. Alton’s story will resonate with so many people out there and his message is one that needs to be told to every generation. Please continue to listen and support my podcast and be sure to check out my social media content on my website MotivateWithCoachCamp.comThis episode was recorded at SRP Studios and Produced by Shelby Row Productions LLC ShelbyRowProductions.com

This weeks episode is the first of a 4 part series that takes a deep dive into the complex world of bullying. It goes without saying that everyone will have a connection with this topic. Weather you yourself were bullied, you know someone that was bullied or you were once the bully, this is a part of life that is unavoidable. Tune in to hear how a 13 year old girl endured a series of life events and a poor decision which altered her path and sent her to a point of depression and feelings of suicide. Now at the age of 14 she shares with me the struggle of handling personal tragedy and how she hopes that by sharing her story she can inspire others that are going through a difficult time. Her message of perseverance is certain to touch anyone’s heart and as she told me in our interview, “Just keep going, because there is a light at the end of the tunnel.”
(Due to her being a minor this weeks guests’ was interviewed in the presence of her mother with permission given. The guests’ identity has been left anonymous. The interview was dictated and narrated by Coach Camp.)

This week's guest will encourage you in ways you might have thought possible. Hear in his own words how he came from amazing parents but found influences that led him down some dark roads. From the early age of 6, Thomas was thrown into early adulthood, where he had to figure out life for himself. Tune in to hear how a child orphaned at an early age, raised by a host of family members, joined a gang, became addicted to drugs, and spent 14 years in prison, turns his life around, and is now completing his Ph.D. Mr. Green's story is compelling, heart-wrenching, and uplifting, all at the same time. Instead of using his blight as an excuse to be just another victim of society, he has decided to be an example to others and work to help those going through difficult times, and he has a passion for the prison ministry. His story is guaranteed to touch your heart.
