**EXPLICIT CONTENT | PTSD Episode 4 - Jim Purdy “Operation Marjah, Seal Team 7”
Thankfully, most of us will live our entire lives and never have to make a life or death decision. However, for a select few that measure up to being a part of our military’s finest, they will have to make this life altering decision multiple times throughout their career. This week’s guest, Jim Purdy shares with my listeners the very difficult path to becoming a Navy Seal and the price that he and his colleagues have had to pay. Doing the right thing for the right reason doesn’t mean that it will be easy. In fact, the harsh truth to what Jim and his other Seal members were asked to do would leave anyone with deep scars. Jim’s story of how they made one of America’s largest drug busts amidst intense attacks by the Taliban and a split second decision that saved his guys, but left him with a haunting reality that war is Hell, is sure to touch everyone. The physical and mental sacrifice that our military men and women make every year could never be repaid and every American owes each of them our greatest respect and deepest gratitude.
