Nonprofit Episode 3 – Precious in Pink Ministries, “And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap” Galatians 6:9 .

Nonprofit organizations are often formed out of a need that is found, a passion 

that is kindled from within and a love that can only come from your heart.  This 

week’s episode is a glowing example of what it looks like when you open up your 

heart by opening up your home. 

 

My guest Dr Jessica Cox and Ms. Ann Lunsford share their stories of how they 

found a love and a calling to help women transitioning from prison back to society.  

 

Dr Cox is a beloved orthodontist in Hernando that found herself reflecting on how 

she had been blessed in her life and wanted to use her good fortune to bless 

others.  She shares with us how a trip to the local jail lit a fire within her to help 

women leaving prison.  This reality suddenly materialized when she crossed paths 

with Ms. Lunsford, a longtime evangelist to incarcerated women. 

 

Hearing their story and seeing how God truly does work in mysterious ways, will 

leave you feeling full of joy and hope.  These two women have made a huge 

difference in so many women’s lives and I hope hearing their story will encourage 

others to take action where they see a need.
