Leadership Episode 4 - Principal of Hernando Elementary, Renee Triplett “The goal is not to be better than anyone else, but rather be better than you were yesterday ~ Jon Gordon”
You don’t have to work in construction to understand the importance of a strong foundation. Regardless of how sturdy the walls are, they will surely collapse if your foundation is weak.
The book by Robert Fulghum called, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, speaks volumes about the importance of a strong foundation. This week’s guest, Ms. Renee Triplett, takes this concept to heart and is very aware of how important her leadership is as the principal of Hernando Elementary K-1st. Ms.
Triplett explains how her upbringing in the country and strong work ethic, ultimately led her to teaching and eventually becoming a principal. Ms. Triplett shares with us some of her influences, philosophies and general approaches to life, that helped to mold her into the person she is today.
Ms. Triplett expresses her genuine love and passion she has for teaching and how her and her staff tackle the many challenges that face them in a post pandemic world. I am confident that this week’s episode will leave you encouraged and relieved that we have strong leaders like Ms. Triplett influencing and building strong foundations for our children that will follow them for a lifetime.
